Hirsch’s newest offering, THE HORIZON, honors our forward-looking nature: steadfast, determined, moving onward at a brisk pace, forever in search of the next adventure. The Horizon isn’t an end result, a destination on a map; it’s something we spend our lives in search of. THE HORIZON combines two straight bourbons distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and is intended to invite whiskey enthusiasts to navigate the landscape of bourbon. Each bottle of THE HORIZON, which is 92 proof, provides the exact batch specifications on the rear label. HIRSCH The Horizon is made up of two components: 94% of the blend is distilled from a traditional mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley; the remaining 6% is distilled from a high-rye mash. Aged between 4 and 6 years

SCENT & FLAVOR
COLOR
Deep colour, almost opaque.
NOSE
Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.
PALATE
On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
