Highclere Castle is famous around the world as the real Downton Abbey Highclere Castle Gin is distilled from a blend of botanicals grown on Highclere Castle's ancient estate including vibrant oranges from the Victorian Orangery. This exceptionally smooth London Dry Gin integrates juniper, orange zest, lime flower, cardamom, and other botanicals along with Highclere famous oats to soften the finish. Bottled at 43.5% ABV, it is quickly becoming a must have in the world of cocktail mixology. Highclere Castle Gin is distilled at Langley Distillery, England's oldest gin distillery. The bottle is custom produced in England.

Sweet citrus opens to a floral bouquet with a crisp pine back note.
Flavour
A luxurious and silky mouth feel. Citrus of orange with notes of lemon and lime move into restrained juniper on the mid palate with gentle spices and florals. A long lasting velvety smooth finish.

The recipe was meticulously developed over four years. The careful selection of botanicals contains essential oils that give Highclere Castle Gin a delicate bouquet of citrus, juniper, and floral beauty. The exceptionally smooth creamy finish results from using Highclere Castle estate-grown oats. Lord & Lady Carnarvon with their dedicated team of gardeners, manage the botanicals that come from the Monk's Garden and the Victorian-era Orangery, picturesquely located behind the castle.

COLOR
Deep colour, almost opaque.
NOSE
Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.
PALATE
On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
