Gran reserva add an indulgent finishing touch to any moment, transforming uncommon into unequalled. Patiently mellowed for 21 years in scotland, it starts quiet, restrained but rich with a defiant glenfiddich distillery dna. Only when it has reached perfection does it get its time to shine. Finished in caribbean reserva rum casks to add sharp ginger, sultry fig and uplifting lime notes that build to a crescendo of sweet toffee and spicy exotic warmth.
Patiently matured for 21 years at the glenfiddich distillery, it is an exquisite, traditional speyside whisky, rich and ripe with our glenfiddich signature notes. But rather than bottle it, as other distillers would, our malt master, brian kinsman, hand picks selected barrels and adds a sublime finishing touch.

SCENT & FLAVOR
COLOR
Deep colour, almost opaque.
NOSE
Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.
PALATE
On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
