Vigneti del Salento is located in Puglia and is part of the Farnese Vini group. The name Farnese in the Abruzzo region dates back to 1538 with wine production beginning in 1994. Puglia, known as the heel of the boot of Italy, is a traditional wine growing region dating back to the ancient Greeks. It is a very hot region cooled by nighttime maritime breezes. Vigneti del Salento has a special arrangement with the many growers in this region. The winemaking team carefully selects the best portions of each vineyard depending on clones, position in the vineyard and age of vines. The vineyards are small and family owned where harvest is done by hand and is relatively quickly therefore they can afford to wait for the optimum time to harvest. The wines carry the name of "I Muri" which refers to the walls surrounding the vineyards, built from the stones cleared to plant the vines. The label features a lizard, indigenous to the vineyards, which testifies to the clean, natural farming of the land.NOTES OF

“Thanks to the characteristics and potential of the vineyards at Quinta do Seixo, it was possible to cut through the strong maturations of this year's harvest.
