This Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in Port casks honors Moore’s relentless ambition and his commitment to crafting bourbon whiskey that stands the test of time. This well-aged Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was emptied from its oak casks after many years of aging and then refilled in Port wine casks and left to mature for several more years. The taste is soft and sweet, with subtle hints of fruit, vanilla and baking spices – a tribute to the early bourbon aristocrat, Thomas S. Moore.

PALATE: Heavy port wine | Clove | Raisin | Light cinnamon | Robust

SCENT & FLAVOR

COLOR

Deep colour, almost opaque.

NOSE

Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.

PALATE

On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
