The 2022-release of Yamazaki Spanish oak is a rich and complex Japanese single malt that has been matured in specially-selected Spanish oak casks and bottled for the 2022 Yamazaki Cask Series. The palate offers notes of dried fruit, sundried tomatoes, buttery pastries and subtle acidity that lingers in the finish.
Nose: Dried raisins and prunes, with hints of sundried tomatoes.
Palate: Rich and decadent with subtle acidity.
Finish: Buttery with lingering acidity and a hint of bitterness.

COLOR
Deep colour, almost opaque.
NOSE
Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.
PALATE
On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
