The sweet reminder of Italy with a savory ending. Sonoroso is your new sweet thing! Sonoroso is an irresistible, delicately sweet line of wines from northern Italy. The wine is rich and enticing – and eager to please with the ease of taste and enjoyment. With a lower alcohol of 7% and a hint of sparkle that balances a delicate burst of fruit, Sonoroso is your sweet thing that is the ideal accompaniment for classic Italian dishes but also spicy Asian or sushi, barbeque and more.

Each varietal is manually harvested at the perfect ripeness to preserve aromas and freshness. The grapes are soft pressed at a low temperature to extract and preserve all flavors and fragrances. Then a partial fermentation is done at low temperature to preserve the natural sweetness, the fruity character and the fizzy style.

Alcohol: 7 % RS: 90 g/l  TA: 5.90 g/l

NOTES OF

SCENT & FLAVOR

COLOR

Deep colour, almost opaque.

NOSE

Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.

PALATE

On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.

“Thanks to the characteristics and potential of the vineyards at Quinta do Seixo, it was possible to cut through the strong maturations of this year's harvest. As a result, we produced very balanced and robust wines, with aromatic notes typical of more mature years.” - Luís Sottomayor, head of Sogrape's winemaking

ORIGINS
