When you are feeling a little edgier, naughtier and adventurous…reach for SONOROSO DARK, a robust expression of Northern Italy where grapes are enriched with deep colors, fruity aromas and a full body. Step over to the DARK side, your first sip will make you glad you did.

The winemaking is conducted with fermentation at a controlled temperature of 82 degrees F for 10 days, with selected yeasts. Here the deep color is extracted. At the end of fermentation, aging begins in medium-sized oak barrels for 6 months.

Sonoroso Dark comes from a selection of Teroldego Rotaliano and Merlot grapes that have high sugar content and are rich in color.

The red currant, blackberry and blueberry of Teroldego emerges on the nose. From Merlot there is a beautiful aromatic profile with notes of vanilla and jam.

SCENT & FLAVOR

COLOR

Deep colour, almost opaque.

NOSE

Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.

PALATE

On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
