Curating fine whiskey sounds too fancy for our taste. Scouting for great whiskey - now that sounds fun. That’s why we’re always on the lookout for whiskey to share no matter where it’s made. Because when we find something worthy (in Indiana for example), we bring it home to the mountains of West Virginia where we blend and bottle it alongside the whiskey we make ourselves. And in this case, we called this 99 proof bourbon Old Scout. Enjoy.

SCENT & FLAVOR
COLOR
Deep colour, almost opaque.
NOSE
Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.
PALATE
On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
