Shelter Bay Sauvignon Blanc Stich Marlborough 2018
Shelter Bay Sauvignon Blanc Stich Marlborough 2018
Product Description
This 100% Sauvignon Blanc is produced in the Marlborough region. The nose is dominated by floral notes, ripe stone fruits and fresh zesty citrus. This follows through to the palate with an underlying textural backbone, driven by the time spent on lees, and a pure mineral concentration. A perfectly balanced and crunchy acidity gives the wine lift, presence and poise. Perfect by the glass or with light dishes such as fish and seafood. Serve well chilled.Brand Description

Focusing on low cropping levels, small batch fermentation, single vineyard fruits and minimal winemaking intervention, the winery is sustainable and environmentally responsible. Stich Sauvignon Blanc is named in recognition of John 'Stich' Stichbury, founder of Jackson Estate. In addition, they produce Homestead Pinot Noir, from their estate vineyards. All fruit is grown on their estate vineyards in Marlborough in the Wairau and Waihopai Valleys.NOTES OF

On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
“Thanks to the characteristics and potential of the vineyards at Quinta do Seixo, it was possible to cut through the strong maturations of this year's harvest. As a result, we produced very balanced and robust wines, with aromatic notes typical of more mature years.” - Luís Sottomayor, head of Sogrape's winemaking
