Ron del Barrilito 3 Stars is aged 6-10 years in white oak barrels that were previously used for Oloroso sherry in Jerez, Spain. A team of Spanish coopers visits us twice a year to keep them in top working shape. Blended and bottled in very small batches. We use the ancient process of maceration, in which a small portion of the rum is infused with a blend of natural dried fruits and spices prior to aging, in order to impart our characteristic flavor profile and aroma. Blended and bottled in very small batches, overseen by our renowned Master Blender Luis Planas.

We use no added sugars, artificial flavorings, or caramel coloring. The deep amber color of our rums happens naturally through the undisturbed aging process. The only water we use is sustainably harvested from rainfall.

Each bottle is still labeled and packed by hand.

SCENT & FLAVOR

COLOR

Deep colour, almost opaque.

NOSE

Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.

PALATE

On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
