Orlando and Attilio Pecchenino. The Pecchenino family has been working in a wine-growing sector. Today, Pecchenino consists of 54 acres in Dogliani and an additional seven acres in Monforte. Focused on the production of high-quality Dolcetto, Nebbiolo and a few other varieties, Pecchenino's vines are painstakingly cared for by hand. In addition to its consistent high quality, Pecchenino distinguishes itself by being the only winery to produce Aged in oak, resulting in Dolcetto wines with an aging potential of over 10 yearsNOTES OF
SCENT & FLAVOR
COLOR
Deep colour, almost opaque.
NOSE
Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.
PALATE
On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
