Product Description

Taste: Soft and crisp, with a distinctly light, nutty, malty, and charred wood character.Finish: A gently fading sweetness with mellow maltiness, and mild woody notes linger pleasingly.

Brand Description

An approachable Irish whiskey comprised of a triple-distilled blend of grain, malt and pot-still, Paddy's Irish Whiskey is mild and yet crisp, with a hint of honey. Paddy's is the perfect session spirit for gathering 'round with friends. Triple-distilled from the finest barley and water from County Cork's Irish countryside, Paddy's matures for years in three types of oaken casks, acquiring its distinctively rich and golden color in dark, aromatic warehouses before being shipped directly from Ireland.Paddy's Irish Whiskey has the distinction of blending grain, malt and pot-still into a single, smooth spirit. Each component contributes subtle flavorings to achieve a uniquely smooth result. The grain offers a light, floral touch of crisp sweetness. The malt augments the sweetness with a slight note of toasted biscuit, and the pot-still brings the traditional Irish creamines with but a breath of spice, honey and vanilla.

NOTES OF

SCENT & FLAVOR

COLOR

Deep colour, almost opaque.

NOSE

Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.

PALATE

On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.

“Thanks to the characteristics and potential of the vineyards at Quinta do Seixo, it was possible to cut through the strong maturations of this year's harvest. As a result, we produced very balanced and robust wines, with aromatic notes typical of more mature years.” - Luís Sottomayor, head of Sogrape's winemaking

ORIGINS

Quinta do Seixo Vintage is a unique expression of this renowned estate, where a combination of soil, slope inclination, sun exposure and reduced amount of available water contribute to the production of intense and complex wines. The 100-year-old vines producing Port create wines full of intensity, character and freshness.
