Deeply rooted in origin, Neyen is a blend that truly reflects the centenary vines and unique soils of Apalta. A blend of Carmenere and Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 14 months in French oak. Complex aromas of raspberry and blackcurrant mix with notes of vanilla and subtle pepper, cedar and leather. The palate is fresh and elegant, with smooth tannins and a persistent finish. A wine to be mediated on its own. Also perfect with rich dishes such as beef and game.Brand Description
The Neyen vineyard in the Apalta Valley is set apart by nature, wedged between where the Andes Mountains and the Coastal Range unite to form a stunning half-moon, and the old terraces of the Tinguiririca River. The Apalta terroir is known for unique energy that the locals call Neyen, the spirit of Apalta. Neyen is produced from old-vine ungrafted Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere from this unique vineyard site. The Cabernet vineyard was planted in 1890, and in 1936, Carmenere vines were added. SCENT & FLAVOR

COLOR
Deep colour, almost opaque.

NOSE
Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.

PALATE
On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
