This finely aged 30-year-old scotch is created with Mortlach’s mysterious process and distilled 2.81 times. Only 350 bottles are released annually of this extremely limited scotch whisky. Unexpected richness emerges through a three-cask finish of bold provenance: Bordeaux wine, Calvados, and Guatemalan rum. Dark as night in color, the mellow nose of this Scotch dives deep and settles into a savory and faintly herbal top note with an underlying vinous note. SCENT & FLAVOR
COLOR
Deep colour, almost opaque.
NOSE
Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.
PALATE
On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
