Brand Description
The name Lvnae is inspired by the name of the city of Luni, an ancient Entruscan and Greek port, consecrated to the goddess Selene by the Greeks (Moon for the Latins). The first Luna colony was founded by the Romans in 177 BC. Lunae Bosoni viticulture has its roots in the ancient history of this land and its peoples Etruscans, Greeks and Romans, from whom it inherited the great winemaking tradition. Our vineyards extend into the Colli di Luni, from the plains south of the Magra river to the Apuan Alps, within the province of La Spezia. Last strip of eastern Liguria, on the border with Tuscany. Each label is born from the desire to express and enhance the properties and characteristics of traditional vines.NOTES OF
SCENT & FLAVOR

COLOR
Deep colour, almost opaque.

NOSE
Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.

PALATE
On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
“Thanks to the characteristics and potential of the vineyards at Quinta do Seixo, it was possible to cut through the strong maturations of this year's harvest. As a result, we produced very balanced and robust wines, with aromatic notes typical of more mature years.” - Luís Sottomayor, head of Sogrape's winemaking
