Kim Crawford is one of New Zealand's most exciting and innovative wine producers. The winery started out in a small cottage in Auckland, New Zealand, and since launching in 1996, the label has gained critical acclaim around the globe. Kim Crawford does things unconventionally, takes risks, starts things, and welcomes 'different.' Their philosophy on making good wine is simple: focus on flavor. Master winemaker Anthony Walkenhorst describes himself as the "guardian of flavor," crafting wines that are vibrant, authentic, and crisp. Influenced by New Zealand's unique natural beauty, Anthony uses it to inspire wines with robust, fruit-driven flavors that accentuate a gentle and natural character. Ultimately, Anthony aims to let the original flavor of the grapes shine through in every glass of Kim Crawford. He continues to carry the torch, crafting bold, unique, and vibrant wines that ensure Kim Crawford's exceptional style is present in every bottle.NOTES OF
SCENT & FLAVOR

Deep colour, almost opaque.

NOSE
Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.

PALATE
On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
“Thanks to the characteristics and potential of the vineyards at Quinta do Seixo, it was possible to cut through the strong maturations of this year's harvest. As a result, we produced very balanced and robust wines, with aromatic notes typical of more mature years.” - Luís Sottomayor, head of Sogrape's winemaking
