FACUNDO EXQUISITO is a bold dark rum blend which marries younger rums aged 7 years and matured rums aged 23 years aged in oak barrels and finished in sherry casks. After the aging process, the rums are blended, transferred and stored in sherry casks to rest for a minimum of one month, resulting in a bold, yet delicately balanced rum. FACUNDO EXQUISITO combines the fruitier notes of its 7 year-old rums with the smokier and spicier notes of its 23 year-old rums, each bringing its own distinct aromas and taste to this smooth, silky blend.

SCENT & FLAVOR

COLOR

Deep colour, almost opaque.

NOSE

Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.

PALATE

On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
