TEQUILA CAZADORES® Añejo Cristalino owes its sheen and transparency to its time-consuming and thorough filtration process. Its foundation is first achieved through the slow and harmonious processes of fermentation and distillation. This high-quality tequila is then sent to mature in American white oak barrels, where it rests for 24 months, slowly absorbing the extraordinary notes of wood from the barrels. The tequila is then filtered to remove the color while conserving the sensory qualities of añejo tequila.
It all started with just one hard-working visionary in 1922 in the sun-kissed highlands of Jalisco, Mexico who spent years perfecting a tequila recipe for his friends and family. This closely guarded secret recipe was passed down by word of mouth for generations. In the early 1970s, his grandson carried on the dream of creating the best tequila and opened a distillery to share the tequila with more people. His legacy became “Cazadores,” or “The Hunters,” named after the journey, the majestic stags that roam our agave fields and symbolize the years the one hard-working man spent searching for the perfect tequila recipe to share with family and friends.

“Thanks to the characteristics and potential of the vineyards at Quinta do Seixo, it was possible to cut through the strong maturations of this year's harvest. As a result, we produced very balanced and robust wines, with aromatic notes typical of more mature years.” - Luís Sottomayor, head of Sogrape's winemaking
