Product Description
A ripe and masculine Cabernet Sauvignon, with generous amounts of black fruit, cassis and espresso with dark earthy undertones of forest floor and briar. An enticing bouquet of cigar box, cloves and cedar all wrapped with subtle hints of mocha and anise leading to a rich palate of warm caramel, complex yet firm tannins and a long lasting finish.Brand Description
The Sonoma Mountain to the west of the B.R. Cohn estate acts as a buffer to the coastal fog. We also benefit from the continual air movement created by the narrowing of the valley between Sonoma Mountain and the Mayacamas Mountain Range at our location. These climatic factors, combined with our vineyards being situated over hot springs, resulting in an earlier bud break and extended growing season for our fruit. Our grapes develop full tannins and flavor profiles every year, even in the mostchallenging vintagesNOTES OF
SCENT & FLAVOR

COLOR
Deep colour, almost opaque.

NOSE
Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.

PALATE
On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
“Thanks to the characteristics and potential of the vineyards at Quinta do Seixo, it was possible to cut through the strong maturations of this year's harvest. As a result, we produced very balanced and robust wines, with aromatic notes typical of more mature years.” - Luís Sottomayor, head of Sogrape's winemaking
ORIGINS
