The ABERFELDY Limited Edition Series is a passion project of Malt Master Stephanie Macleod, with a focus on unique cask finishes that complement and elevate the signature character of ABERFELDY. Stephanie uses her exceptional skills in sensory analyses to observe the maturation and flavor development in each cask until achieving the desired flavors, at which time the whisky is deemed ready to be bottled.

This rare 18-Year-Old Whisky is finished in French Côte Rôtie casks to create the perfect balance of flavor between the rich character of ABERFELDY and power and elegance of Côte Rôtie. Côte Rôtie casks bestow expressive and seductive qualities, silky textures and fruits with luscious, red berry characteristics.

Serve neat or on the rocks.

NOTES OF

SCENT & FLAVOR

COLOR

Deep colour, almost opaque.

NOSE

Aroma of excellent complexity, with wild bush and spicy notes like curry, pepper and ginger, red berries and black fruits mixed with a light cacao touch, the result of a good maturation, along with a slightly stony finish.

PALATE

On the palate it has a powerful attack, with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins, wild bush and red berry notes, with an extremely long finish and great concentration.
